AWS is planning on conducting network maintenance in some of their AWS Local Zones locations, which may impact spot exchange Websockets clients connecting to and/or from Local Zone locations within the parent us-west-2 region.
Within the maintenance windows, connectivity is expected to be partially impacted for 20-40 minutes, within which 5-6 minutes will be a full outage. Connectivity via the primary URL (ws.kraken.com) is not expected to be impacted.
As usual, Websockets clients are advised to utilise the dead man's switch to help handle any unexpected connectivity issues.
An update will be provided when the these maintenance windows are complete, or if any unexpected/extended issue should occur.
